To the Ann Landers’ of So Cal beach life,
What is the point when it is acceptable to wait for a parking spot?
The beach is crazy. People will wait forever for a spot. They’ll block the bike lane, block traffic or anything they need to do to get a spot. No shame at all. Madness.
I write this because I was at a supermarket and a person stopped behind me as I was ready to pull out. They sort of wedge me in. I get unwedged and that’s when I noticed the driver was waiting for a person that hadn’t even gotten to their car yet with a full cart of groceries. It’s not even a crowded parking lot. There are open spots 12 – 15 spaces in.
Am I just impatient or is it okay for lazy people to obstruct traffic so they can save walking a hundred feet?

P.S.Don’t get me started on the lazy people that park in the fire lane front of a store so somebody can run in and grab something. It’s never at a store where anybody can just grab something and get out quickly.
