This week we’re bringing you Five Summer Stories that represent an eclectic cross section of our sport. We open the program with the harrowing tale told by Michael Dunphy of a recent surf trip to Costa Rica that ended in disaster with an SUV rolled into a roadside ditch. We then take you to Los Angeles where two entrepreneurs got funding from complete strangers to launch a company that offers custom tailored, handmade wetsuits. Then down to Cabo San Lucas where a drunken week with Chris Ward and a viral video results in a threatened lawsuit and a hit video series. Our forth story features Playboy Playmates teaming up with Jamie Foxx to defeat Dane Reynolds in a surf contest. Lastly, we hear from one Huntington Beach surf photographer who is leveraging the industry to peer pressure young surfer away from drugs. It’s all in this week’s episode of Surf Splendor!
