In today’s episode David chats with Andrew Kidman and Ellis Ericson about their new film “On The Edge Of A Dream”. The film documents five years of experimentation and development of the Edge design. The conversation begins 30 years ago, when George Greenough began sharing stories with Kidman about the greatest wave he had ridden and the design detail that made it possible. After 25 years of coaxing, Kidman partnered with test pilot and fellow shaper Ericson to build a quiver of boards, share the feedback with Greenough and refine the quiver to isolate the virtue of the Edge. David chats with the two about the film, the book, the design, and the current state of surf media. Enjoy!
