Consummate host and spreader of aloha, Sid “The Package” Abruzzi is the subject of this week’s show. Hailing from Newport, Rhode Island, Sid helped pioneer the surf and skate movements for the North East. From playing an instrumental role in the first X-Games to helping pass legislation to save iconic surf spots, Sid has been at the center of surf and skate culture for the past 50 years and he’s even opened for Iggy Pop as the lead singer of the band ‘Big World’. We’re proud to finally bring our conversation with Sid Abruzzi. Enjoy!
