Rich Harbour still toils away in his shaping bay at 329 Main St, Seal Beach, California. He’s been there for 51 years, which makes it the longest consistently operation shaping bay in the world. What’s more, it’s a mere half mile from where he rode his very first wave as a young boy. David sat with Rich and discussed his early experiences working with a revolutionary new material, polyurethane foam, growing and evolving a business for more than half a decade, and the importance of small business.
