    Big ups to you, David.

So far I’ve listened on a train, plane and in my car.

You can tell how great this podcast by how much fun your guests have.

Good job, I hope you find a way to make this thing profitable for yourself, you deserve it, sir. Maybe t-shirts? You might want to check out how No Agenda podcast and see how they ask for donations from listeners and give you a chance become a producer and reach high levels of support.

Have you thought about interviewing any surf influenced bands? Eddie Vedder? That’d be cool :)

Thanks Ross. Listeners have offered donations. I’m not sure how I’d like to proceed with that idea. As for Eddie Vedder, yes please! Anyone have an in?

    Hello David,
Recently, by way of Scott Bass’ show, I became aware of your really cool podcast and blog. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into your research and thinking. You and Scott are a great combo., I hope you continue working together.
I have been surfing for nearly 30 years and it has always been a major passion in my life, but I used to never really think too much about it, rather just did it. Over the years, however, I’ve become more mindful and reflective about surfing and its importance in my life, both physically and spiritually, as well as its abstract and multiple significances among our growing community.
I look forward to learning more about surfing’s rich history and diverse cultural topics like the ones you have been documenting with your insightful critical thinking.

I love Surf Splendor because on those days that I am driving during the work week, it makes me feel connected to surfing. The content is fantastic, it’s great to put a voice to people I have only previously read about…Keep it up! Would love to hear a podcast specific to longboarding or East Coast surfing.

Thanks, Frank. I tried to interview East Coast shaper Ricky Carroll recently when he was in California, but we weren’t able to connect. I’ll start outlining something for the East Coast. Thanks for the feedback!

I found this podcast from your cast with Scott Bass.
I binged listened to all of them today and I hope you keep up the great work. I worked at G&S surfboard factory in the 80s and there are lots of great stories to tell there. Mike Eaton might be a good interview also.
