THE KELLY VS. GABRIEL AND THE NON-INTERFERENCE

DUKE

Lakey Peterson for her overshadowed, yet nonetheless incredible comeback story.

KOOK

Ronnie Blakey for constantly provoking Pete Mel in the commentary booth. Throughout the entire event Ronnie seemed to be jabbing Pete and it also seemed to keep Pete off kilter. Kinda odd. They are both usually super nice guys.

MUST-SEE MOMENT

Corey Wilson’s incredible capture of Owen Wright celebrating his win with his girlfriend Kita Alexander and their newborn child.

@owright so incredibly proud of you. Been through hell and back and now you are on top of the world.

    Great podcast, gentlemen.

I was humbled to hear your kind words and references to surf-stats this episode. My buddy Dave, who helps out from time to time, was especially stoked to have MY article credited to him repeatedly. Thanks for stroking his ego guys.

Surf-Stats is a very small site that, like you guys, exists only off the back of reader generosity. It is a real bonus to have established media like your podcast referencing our stuff. Especially since I’m an avid listener and fan-boy. If you ever want to chat numbers, just let me know; I’d love to shoot the conversational pier with the godfathers of surf podcasts.

Keep up the great analysis; you have a good dynamic together and the balance the two of you strike on most topics is bang-on. I hope you guys have time to pump another episode out before Margies kicks off next week.

    Shred on,
